Apple crisp without oat: easy fall dessert recipe
This easy fall dessert is the perfect way to use up all those extra apples you have lying around. The filling is made with a mix of apples, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The topping is a simple mixture of flour, butter, and brown sugar. Bake it all together until the apples are tender and the topping is crispy. Serve it warm with a scoop of ice cream.
I bought the topping mixture premade because I don't like to spend time in the kitchen. Also, I used less sugar and more topping. You can keep it in the fridge for a week plus and it reheats really well. This is a great fall dessert to have on hand when you want a sweet snack.
