How I reward myself for doing work
After a long day of work, it can be difficult to find the motivation to keep going. But if you have a system in place to reward yourself for completing tasks, you'll be more likely to stay on track. I like to think of my rewards as mini-goals that I can strive for throughout the day.
Incentive for completing small tasks
For instance, if I finish my work by noon, I'll allow myself to take a break and watch my favorite show. Or if I complete all of my tasks for the day, I'll treat myself to a nice dinner out. It's important to find rewards that motivate you and make them attainable so that you can stay focused on your goals. By doing this, you'll be able to stay on track and accomplish more than you thought possible.
Find an accountability partner
Another way is to have an accountability partner, for instance, working with a friend or family member on a task together. This way you can help each other stay motivated and accountable. Instead of canceling friendships, befriend someone that does not tolerate laziness. Finding someone a spouse, a sister, or a friend to help push you and encourage you can be a great motivator. Also, make sure to maintain that relationship!
Have clear goals
Also, set goals for yourself, long-term goals, and short-term goals. For example, if your long-term goal is to lose weight, break it down into smaller goals like working out three times a week and eating healthy meals. This way you can track your progress and feel good about yourself as you accomplish each goal. Visualize yourself achieving your goals. This will help you stay motivated and focused on what you want to achieve.
How to get motivated to study
It can be difficult to find the motivation to study, especially if you're not enjoying the subject matter. But there are a few things you can do to make it easier. First, try to find a quiet place where you can focus on your work. This will help you eliminate distractions and better concentrate on your studies.
In high school, I remember that my grade improved to straight As when I became friends with the smartest classmate. It was amazing how much I learned from her just by talking to her and seeing how she approached her studies. Sometimes, all it takes is finding a good role model to help get you motivated.
I like listening or watching lectures on my computer while I take notes. This way, I can focus on the material and understand it better. Different people have different ways of learning , so find what works best for you and stick with it.
Another tip is to create a study schedule and stick to it. Dedicate certain days and times to studying, and make sure you stick to that schedule as much as possible. This will help you develop a good study habit and make it easier to find the motivation when it's time to hit the books.
Also, try to find a way to make your studies more enjoyable. If you're struggling with the material, try finding a different book on the subject or listening to music while you work. Sometimes, all it takes is a little change of pace to jumpstart your motivation.
